Playful Times
Skipping through what might have been
1,2,3,4 jump in and you win
Double Dutch if you dare
...

Busy, Lazy nothing to do
Working hardly not trying to prove
What you're doing they'd like to know
For your idleness it doesn't show
...

To be a mate you sacrifice
You must be willing and ready to try
To swim against a blistering currant
To push against a howling wind
...

The many times in life we try,
To go up and down so earnestly we get by.
To be a place, to know a face and want nothing to do with it,
To pretend till life ends, to think you know what you want.
...

I've had enough
I've been here too long
I'm tired of the games
I'm sick of the same old songs
...

When the horizon and the sea meet thats when i miss you most
Whe the sky has company and has a most luminous host
When the ear can hear the heart's every beat
And the driving music of the world must now take the back seat

Raymichelle Springer Biography

Well i started writing poems as a means to express feelings that i could not say out loud. 'Something Weird' and 'Playful Times' was done just to create this account. Everytime i had an overwhelming feeling i could not express i vented it onto pen and paper. Every feeling, anger, love, pain, (especiaal pain) .All my secrets are hidden in the words i write. Every intricate part of who i am comes out in my poetry all you have to do is read.I'm no Mya Angelo(i absolutely adore her) but i love poetry and reading all kinds of books.I think it defines a person and exposes the mind to places only the mind can go, thus creating an almost alternate reality where the possiblities are endless.)

Playful Times

Playful Times
Skipping through what might have been
1,2,3,4 jump in and you win
Double Dutch if you dare
Scootch will surely give you a scare
Mama Buju will crack your side
If you’re caught there goes your side
Simon says will leave you in tears
To outlast the rest you use your ears
Around the roses you wrote a letter
Sunday morning the faster you run the better
Miss Mary’s ladies will offer a seat
Along with Mama Goose this rhyme is complete
