I write these words
From better days gone
Not as advice or judgment
But as a light a rock a shining star
Guiding you to your path
Through life’s up’s and downs
Twisted and monotonous turns
You will find you’re not alone

Trouble and hurt
But never ashamed
Tore in so many ways
With a smile on your face
There’s hope for you yet
To get to that girl you forever miss

Choose who you want to be
Decide our own rules
Dance to your own tune
Others will follow stepping in time
Smile ever so gently
Never mind the little things
For the world takes notice
With the embrace of a kiss

Turn hate in to happiness
Change tears into smiles
Stop dropping you head
Hold it straight hold it high
You are somebody with no need
To bleed no need to cry
No more need to feel broken
No more need to want to die
