I'm putting a little bowl of milk
Out on the porch step
It's just a little bowl of milk
I put it down and left

It's time for the birds to chirp
It's time to sit on the patio
It's almost time
To have the talk

There's a twitch
Inside of the skin
Something else it trying to win
I take a deep breath

Maybe I'm looking at it all wrong
Maybe I should blow off some steam
Maybe this is all a dream
