Richard Marsden Poems

1.

We have always and always will try.
Try to understand.
We know we cannot, we fear we might.
We seek opinions, but contradict our own.
...

I wish…
Some people were not as mean
War did not exist
People spread love more and hate less
...

In the storm that forest of waves,
The feelings jump they whisper and cry,
Plodding on with silent echo of unidentifiable love,
What?
...

Over thinking

It’s begins simple, like you wish things were
But soon it changes

Life

We have always and always will try.
Try to understand.
We know we cannot, we fear we might.
We seek opinions, but contradict our own.
Some care, some do not.

Some think thoughts of peace,
Some act to create peace.
Others sit in silence and find peace through meditation.
Others wish they could.
Some care, some do not.

Some people spread hate.
Some spread love.
Many do not think about this,
Some over think this.
Some care, some do not.

Many people try and understand life through religion.
Others do not.
Some envy the religious.
A few will never understand their opinion on the matter.
Some care, some do not.

Life will always be complicated.
Some care, some do not.
