Expectations through patience
As circumstance comes daily
To stretch faith and hope

The whirl of the wind
That encircles our time
Breaks apart the shell
Exposes our souls

Given the gift from which God
Deemed my life worthy
It is now shared
To the benefit of friends

With knowing glances
And smiles of satisfaction
Steel and muscle give life
To an unknown entity
