Ridhi Malhotra Poems

1.

Life is an ocean of sorrow
Happiness, something you can’t borrow
As a child I couldn’t wait to become an adult
Years passed and I did, as a result
...

I often wonder what life will be like
Physically and mentally alike
What will it be like when I get old?
Will I always feel the cold?
...

Today we celebrate this anniversary together
Hoping that we get to be with each other forever
The time we spent together so far is just the start
We like to curl up and tell the talks of our heart
...

4.

What happened to the earth that was once so green?
Without any cleaning, bright colours would gleam
In the past and even now, it provides us with so much
With nature, the people of the past were so in touch
...

5.

At many stages in life we experience fear
It may be to lose someone who to us is dear
The people we love we never want to lose
When they leave, in our hearts there’s a bruise
...

A word where we all stand side by side
Where we don’t change with the moon and tide
Its where for someone else, you make a sacrifice
When you listen and give appropriate advice
...

Remember those days that have gone, past times?
When you could hear nature sing without wind chimes

Before in the ozone layer a hole they tore
...

If you’ve got an advice I’ll heed
It’s mostly the strength I need
I pray, drowned in faith of God
Dear god, help me wipe away this façade
...

9.

To go on we all need hope
Yeah, its hard to live and cope
Around us there is so much pain
It feels like we’re being slain
...

In our lives we’re always waiting for something
Weather it be to enjoy a ride on a swing
Weather it be to take part and sing
At first, I waited to enter the world
...

The Best Poem Of Ridhi Malhotra

Life

Life is an ocean of sorrow
Happiness, something you can’t borrow
As a child I couldn’t wait to become an adult
Years passed and I did, as a result
As I grew up, the world turned into a mess
At adulthood it didn’t seem any less
Just around the corner was old age
And the time came to turn the page
To move into a retirement home
Where all I did was live in a dome
Although it came with its own adventures
Throughout the day I had to wear dentures
Reflecting on the years that have gone
Was like watching a movie into which I was drawn
With a yawn and a sigh came death
As I drew in my last breath…
