Fire reigns down from the sky,
nobody dares ask why,
cities vanish before our eyes,
nuclear war.
...

Each poet is alone,
Always a tortured soul.
But their words last forever,
Ripples in an everlasting pool.
...

A sparkling stream,
Twists through the trees.
This peaceful place,
Is home for me.
...

We were once friends.
Do you remember?
Telling ghostly tales,
Around the embers.
...

The silent angel,
hidden in the crowds.
hiding among people,
so he can get around.
...

Inside every human,
there's an angel deep inside.
waiting for freedom,
waiting to be let out.
...

You didn't listen,
to my words of wisdom.
you never tried,
to find a way around.
...

The sun,
is rising.
The plane,
is flying.
...

I am not perfect,
nor is anyone.
noone is always right,
everyone is sometimes wrong.
...

Lone traveller,
where have you been?
Lone traveller,
what have you seen?
...

While you're cosy in bed,
They lose their heads.
As you happily sleep,
A new orphan weeps.
...

This is war
It is a shame
It's happened before
It'll happen again
...

13.

You were my best friend,
Through thick and thin.
Then you betrayed my trust,
I'd had enough,
...

As the sun opens up its fiery eye,
As the crows on the dead trees sadly cry,
As the heroes march on toward their sad deaths,
As the trumpet sounds for each final breath,
...

You attacked me,
left me wounded.

Inside more than out.
...

The trumpet sounds its final sound,
The coffin lowered 'neath the ground,
The feel of sadness all around,
This is your grand finale.
...

17.

Hot shards of metal,
Slice the sky.
As bullets fly,
As soldiers die.
...

Five in the morning,
He woke up to find,
His city was burning,
No trace left behind.

Nuclear War

Fire reigns down from the sky,
nobody dares ask why,
cities vanish before our eyes,
nuclear war.

The body count grows fast,
like this nobody will last,
blast after vaporizing blast,
nuclear war.

This is the end for everyone,
only satan can have won,
how could we all be so dumb,
nuclear war.

Missiles screaming through the sky,
it's another city's turn to die,
all that's left to do is cry,
nuclear war.

May our earth heed this warning,
for i fear our time wears thin,
chuck the h-bomb in the bin,
nuclear war.
