Thinking about everyones' faces

People fill your house
And yet silence echoes through
Notes fly out their mouths
Yet can never seem to reach you

To excite is to move someone's
Heart at a faster pace than it is
Already going.

Words aren't as hurtful
As the one speaking them
Just talk until someone, who used to care,
Actually means it.

Can good-byes really be the solution
Needed in order to move on in life?
If we have to say good-bye will it be
With everyone we meet or is it

They don't know
The things I hide
The things I've said
The times I've lied

On the outside
Is skin so fine
You would never tell
What's on her mind

Silenced by a secret
