Oh paradise that to me you alone have shown
In my heart now shall I keep the memory
Like a cherished song, a melody that's mine alone
When heart is tender, mine to hum in my reverie
...

When yearning is blind
When it knows not its goal
An abyss you will find
Just a dark empty hole

Oh paradise that to me you alone have shown
In my heart now shall I keep the memory
Like a cherished song, a melody that's mine alone
When heart is tender, mine to hum in my reverie
Oh land of Eden where you alone have led me
A stranger to this place of beauty was I
And tenderly its' lovely wondrous paths you showed me
In heaven while with you there felt I
Oh paradise though mine for just a visit
Forever shall I keep it locked in a corner of my heart
And the Golden Key I'll keep when need be to open it
To let its tender, warm Heavenly bliss to me impart
