My Time

They look and they glare,
But I am used to their stare,
They judge and bear grudge,
But this time is my time.

The same hands I shook,
Now bare the same look
Of distrust
as I walk by.
But this time is my time.

Do they remember the girl,
With that 'sweet little curl'?
Do they see her now?
Or do they bow
Their heads and turn away?
But this time is my time.

What happened to yesterday,
With its sun and play?
Why now do they decide,
Do I deserve to be cast aside?
But this time is my time.

If you won't smile
I won't laugh.
If you won't reach
I won't take.
But this time is my time.

I did nothing
But you changed everything.
You try to avoid and hide.
You act like you know why,
But you have no reason
And these are not your times

This time is mine.
