Pebbles

The snow has melted
Exposing the beach
So I walked
Leaving the boardwalk
Pebbles squaked
Under my feet
But it sounded hollow

The wind was low
And it was warm
Well, not enough
On my right
And I had to keep
My right hand
In the jacket pocket
