Song Of Descent

Sunset sings and dyes-the-graying-green
Time of the eucalyptus red
The air, in fanfare, throws confetti
Made of living-herbal-scent
And the huddled sparrows soaked
In song of descent, relent and sleep
There in the midst of the hush
Between note... and note, a ghost dances
And lightly plays with long-gold-hair
Of a girl, who unaware
Walks-in-step as she passes.
