Calling Of Sleep

Bury a cloud of feathers and pillows
Smother a dozen blankets soft as sheep wool
Bury me, smother me
back to sleep
Lullaby me, hypnotize me please

to start this day over again, at least in my own eyes
Sad songs have dictated my morning
nudging me to always remember, always reflect
