Samantha Boatwood Poems

On a moon lit night
By a rushing stream
I sat by a sycamore tree,
...

Our hearts sink, but hope floats
We start to waver
But hope floats
We can't see anymore, clouds of darkness
...

In the land of make believe, where all
Our dreams come true and everything
Is different and everything is new
...

I'll reach out to you,
Please take my hand,
You lead the way
Though this rugged land.
...

Amazement.....
That's all I can say,
I don't understand,
Why you were taken away
...

You may have had thoughts I did not see
Or love you could not share
But I've always know in my heart
My daddy's always been there
...

Daddy hold me in your arms
Tell me all will be ok
Wipe these tears from my eyes
Daddy, will you be ok
...

I stand alone among thousands of souls
My world is torn and filled with noise,
Yet all I can hear is the beat of my heart
Strumming so loudly with a deafening hum.
...

Why do they kill
Why do they hate
What's on their minds
When They're in that state
...

10.

We must live everyday
were not promised the next,
Take a risk jump out of the nest.
...

We all feel lost at one time or another,
So I write this for me and all who suffer this sickenss.
Depression is a beast that lurks in the night
An evil shadow hiding in the corner ready to strike!
...

Dear God,

Please send my dad an Angel
To comfort and to hold him
To help him on his way
And please let it be today

Magic In The Night

On a moon lit night
By a rushing stream
I sat by a sycamore tree,

Has no one ever told you
Of the magic that can be,
While you sit and wait
By the sycamore tree,
So keep a close full watch
For the magic will appear
While you sit and wait
By the sycamore tree

Not a second goes by
When I look up
And dancing in the sky,
It's a cat with a fiddle
Hey diddle diddle
What eles can I see tonight,
There's a man with a mask
Upon a white horse
Galloping very fast..

And just to the right and not very far,
A gentleman has appeared
He's the man in the moon,
But he'll be gone very soon
As night must come to an end,
But don't be sad, it won't be long
Till the star's twinkle again.

Come wait with me, at the tree
Till night does fall again..
