Down Pour

Obscure darkness, cold and gloom surround
Clouds, kinsmen and companions mass at my departure.
Words of love of far more love, sound
On the death bed than previously where I’d slumber.

You sight the sun play; unhidden or unseen,
Whilst it shown, I dazzled in fine attire;
Lying laced in the shroud of peace and serene;
Into the lonely depth now I retire

Life swathe both: lightening and thundered
I fear not death; paradise I may roam.
For flora I had blossomed, thirst I had quenched.
I return unto Him akin a hero returning home.

My soul evaporates, bowing before him now.
A day shall arrive, you will join Us above.
