I began writing at an early age, hoping that my writing will touch people’s heart and add an extra smile to their lives. I believe in living ‘one day at a time’. I'm a dreamer and have a passion for food and long conversations. In my spare time I blend my imagination and thoughts to enjoy the small joys that life brings along my way each day.)

Mom, I'Ve Lived My Life In You.

You were the first to smile for me - you felt me before I was born.
You nourished me in your tender care and I felt your love so strong.
Each day you placed your gentle hands to feel my heart beats within.
Mom, there is no greater love I feel, if there is - I have never felt or seen.

Months have passed and I feel your pain, I sense the tears in your eyes this day.
My body is not completely formed, but my ears can still hear those words you pray.
I don’t understand how cruel life can be, while your love for me stays strong.
Help me mum, to be a stronger girl and brave from the day I’m born.

Mum, I heard Dad’s voice this morn, I felt his kiss right through you today.
I hear the sound of a tinkling bell, is that a toy he bought for me to play?
It has been 5 long months inside of you, how long now till I see you Mom?
I now wait and want to watch your smile and grow up listening to your favourite song.

Mom, do you think I'll be safe once out, will they accept me as I am or not?
Deep inside I'm a bit afraid Mom, and I feel your love is all I’ve got.
Are some people not happy for me? Is all I hear around you true?
I am a girl, and I want to grow, strong and brave even happy in solitude.

Let me inherit your desire to live, head held high and a spirit so kind.
But, Mom why do I feel my breath is shallow, why do I feel my heart beats are slow.
Is this why you cried that day, knowing I’ll die so soon?
Oh Mum, I’m so sorry; I won’t see this world and most of all you.

My hands are weak but I’m feeling you through, please don’t cry when they let me go.
Tell others that I’ve lived my life, I feel that it has completed in you.
Mom, I’m glad I’ve lived my life in you, I now see angels ready to take me from you.
Please don’t cry Mom, I think I’ll be safe, you’ll see my body but my soul I’ll leave for you.
