Sandeep Mandal Poems

Eyes getting wet at thoughts
That once enlivened my spirit
Soaking my heart with hopes
Inspired great work of merit.
...

Remember me when I'm gone away
When I'm laid to an eternal sleep
In my final abode made of clay
Remember me when I rest six feet deep.
...

Like a lively lark singing sweet
That soars higher and higher
Giving impetus to poetic wit
Enthrals like a cloud of fire,
...

What future do you speak of, Amy?
Asked Sam in a fit of anger in disgust.
You always think of yourself not me,
And judge me when I do what I trust.
...

On such days like this
When dark clouds choke the morning sky
Persisting mourning of the doves
Hovering over the rain soaked air
...

Fear not my friend
You are but a universe in making
The initial jolt and jerk
A setup only to launch you into the orbit
...

Nipped in the bud
My love for you grew darker and darker
Until it's feared to darken
Even the brightest day of the autumn
...

Goodbyes o fair maid goodbyes
For tonight and all the nights ever to come
Never to whisper to your ears
Or ever to ease off the scars.
...

Son of love
What bothers you
What topples you off the track
What is it you think you lack
...

Love is lost love gained
Gloomy yesterday today entertained
Income and expenditure
A perfect balance sheet
...

What's so fascinating about it?
That it has such a hold on my imagination.
Only to mystify the verse to add weight
Of ambiguity or rather to lend introspection.
...

A valley of lush intoxicating flora
Of the most wildest nature
Untampered, unharmed, unhurried
In her appeal to love in modest bid
...

Rooted somewhere in the Cosmos
Be it the space beyond
Or the space within,
There's an inexplicable source
...

Doesn't sense perception limit us?
Or serves as the gateway to infinity
Aren't we all caught up in illusion?
Or illusion rather poses as liberty.
...

You truly never know
Where you come from and where you go.
It's broad day now but next comes thick night
Only a blink of an eye
...

This verse may or may not ever be uttered
Drifting in the ebb and flow
Know not which shore it reaches, ever be it so
Or goes on whirling and twirling in the primordial dance
...

Was it of the eyes or of the soul?
The longing long cherished, long untold
For how many days, months or years on
The nights know and knows every setting sun
...

Money begets money, sin begets sin
Shadows are cast just as the way you lean
Footprints trail back to the past
To count all that was crushed to dust
...

Once I met a man all weary and pale
He said he had everything but peace
Inquisitive I wanted to hear his tale
He went on rather gloomily and said
...

Years have gone by
Initially no time to time
Then unfurled day descended night
Still stilled without chime
...

The Best Poem Of Sandeep Mandal

An Apology

Eyes getting wet at thoughts
That once enlivened my spirit
Soaking my heart with hopes
Inspired great work of merit.

Trying to see through tears
With heavy heart for mistakes
Unintentionally repeated
Turns me into a living dead.

Imploring again and again
Persuasion fades out in pain.
Words get stuck for apology,
Vision seems to be very hazy.

Mind still longs for a smile,
In a hope to be forgiven,
Taking me out of the dark den
That saddens me once in a while.

Sandeep Mandal Quotes

Life is not to have perfection in every sphere, It's rather to deal imperfections with perfection.
