Sarah Zurakovsky Poems

Awake in the night

Despair my only friend
...

Scared of what to believe and what i feel,
Im aware im alive yet nothing is real.

My blood frozen yet burning inside,
My mind running away but no where to hide.
...

Flowers blooming and sun rising bright,
Illuminating the day after the night.

Dew glinting on the blades of grass,
Tears of a night come to pass.
...

I wish for no tomorrow
Don’t wake me from this sleep.

I don’t want to dream
I don’t want to think.
...

A roll of the dice, a spin of the wheel,
You carry on though you know how i feel.

A click of a button is all that it takes,
But every time its one more mistake.

Sarah Zurakovsky Biography

Hello I'm Sarah! My love of poetry started in primary school when I was 7 years old, we were asked to write a poem on foxhunting (I still remember it so will post it soon, don't be too harsh...I was only 7) I used to spend my evenings writing poetry, some of the poems I still remember! Nowadays I don't spend that much time writing poetry, only when the mood takes me! Thanks for looking Sarah xxx)

There is no answer.

Maybe it's just how it is.

This is me

Sadness.

No reason to talk

It's all been said.

How can you help

When i'm already dead?
