living a death sentence
held in a prison
trapped on death row
a row full of pain
...

will someone find me
under all the rubble
the rubble of the past
all bottled up
...

eating away
eating away at all has been hidden through time
letting lose all that has been locked away
freeing everything that is kept within
...

I didn't think much
could happen
in so little time
...

feel the heat
sting of the burn
like a constant painful thorn
scars leaving reminds
...

this may sound strange
but i want to thank you
all of you
the ones from my past
...

Born and raised in a cage
life’s lessons
went untaught
lived your life only for others
...

so even though it hurt
to watch your love for me fade
and eventually end
I know it was for the best that I didn't fight it
...

how come at night
there is no longer any night
I worked so hard
to be able to find the light
...

Look into my eyes
Do you see my pain
See all I have seen
To see you I have eyes of a tragedy
