Schuyler Jane Poems

I know it's a cliche, maybe you won't want it said, maybe you'll disown the idea, without actually taking it in, but I realize now, that I've got to set it free, no more clinging to the edge, of halfway honesty

Three Meager Words

I know it's a cliche, maybe you won't want it said, maybe you'll disown the idea, without actually taking it in, but I realize now, that I've got to set it free, no more clinging to the edge, of halfway honesty
I've lost the spark which kept me from giving my all to you, as it died out, I realized that I've saved my best, for someone I've wanted so badly, through, and through
I'll admit, that this is all the truth, I've written it down, in a million different ways, I know that now, I've been part of the reason, pertaining to why, we're stuck in this place, but I'll finally move on, once I've made my claim; won't you please allow a few words to compensate, for the months we talked, and for some drew away, we'd dance around at a leisure pace, where we pondered, how much the other could take, all the while, simply resisting our fate
But here I am, done with the wait, reborn; anew, rebelling against potential pain
My words from me to you, are meager in number, true- but they are words which render me powerless over you.
The number stands at three,
I Love You.
