Scott Class Poems

There's a battle between my head and my heart.
My heart is broken and torn apart.

My head is cluttered with thoughts of you,
some good, some bad, some old, some new.

As I sit here alone this house is so dark. It feels like my life is stuck in park. I gaze out the window on a cold fall night, knowing she's out there, Ms. Right. I stare at the moon and the stars as well, thinking how will I find her stuck in this hell. I know she is out there thinking the same 'Where's Mr. Right I'm tired of this game'. I need to pick myself up and put on my armor, go find Ms. Right so no one can harm her. When I find her I will hold her close to my heart and vow to her we will never be apart.

You can not mold me and treat me this way.
I'm no longer your puppet or made out of clay.

My skin is alive and my feelings are real.
You've broken my heart and for that theres no pill.
...

Tears run down my face as the words flow from my pen.
Why does it feel like I'm only ten.

My heart is in pieces, my life in a shamble.

The Battle

There's a battle between my head and my heart.
My heart is broken and torn apart.

My head is cluttered with thoughts of you,
some good, some bad, some old, some new.

My head says leave her and start a new.
My heart cries out, that I can not do.

They battle every second of every day.
My heart hurts like hell and wants you to stay.

My head says, she's not who you married let her leave.
My heart fights back, I can't you wear me on your sleeve.

The battle continues with no end near,
But my souls the real loser without you here...
