sereena rafi Poems

I long waited till crack of dawn
At some doors,
thinking that it's your home
I left behind my home
...

All those word that flowed by
without waiting to get filled, know
That silence is not a vacant space.
There are rivers buried in it
...

Like a flower flag in the wind
A man get’s killed tossing his
blood all over in a movie
I remember.

In The End

I long waited till crack of dawn
At some doors,
thinking that it's your home
I left behind my home
to reach you
But lost the way

Those walks towards your adobe
Was running like blood in the poems
Written by dead fingers.
Many signs fascinated me,
Throughout the way
Before reaching there.

A clatter as if
One is nearing to a cascade.
The noise of the wind
And the crunch of the foliages.
the way to your home
is marked in my dreams, last life or before
Yet within me
It took a lifetime
to reach you
though you were not there.

Like folding back the umbrella
Off from the rain
I closed down myself
At the end of the way,
Let know your possessor to
Bury me at a distance
Where I could see your home.
