There are times

I AM HAPPY AGAIN

I am happy again
It happens often
...

THE POEMS ARE SMALL

The poems are small
Their story is small
...

WHEN I THINK OF THE BEAUTY THERE HAS BEEN IN THIS WORLD

When I think of the Beauty there has been in this world
That has been lost
...

The day is too beautiful to be inside in
The worlds of sunlight leaves and distant walkways
Call
But inside deeper than all darkness
...

They don't have to run
They can stop and look and love looking at the world
...

IN OLD AGE EACH FRIEND MEANS MORE


In old age each friend means more
...

BUT THE POEM IS RUINED
