Strife

The journey of life begins,
With love and prosperity,
Giving us the feel of euphoria,
But then it takes its turn,
Bringing us down.
Takes away from us our love,
Hatred proclaims its victory over life,
Making our life nothing less than strife.
But you my friend,
Smile.
Life is like a wave,
Having its crests and troughs.
Sometimes high,
sometimes low.
Very enjoyable is the ride when it is at its peak,
But,
Weak hearts fail,
When they face the harsh truth,
They lose their trail,
When they lose their love,
They are fragile,
You are not.
You are a fighter,
Fighting with life.
Crying at times,
But then wiping your tears,
Smiling at life.
Ready to move on,
With no complaints or regrets,
Just with a hope,
Someday somehow all will be right.
Till then keep up the fight.
Life itself will be proud of you.
