Talking like you don't trust your interpreter
Gets you nowhere in a foreign land, nor does
Thinking like that if you ever do get back, it's
A simple misdirected missing person's surprise
Search party, it's like giving up your job to take
Up smoking, or overdosing alone and hopeless
After ingesting too many social lubricants, it
Sticks with you like the kiss of a burn victim,
Like battery chickens eating free range people
