Life

Life is a journey
long road to tread
how much slow you may be
goal to reach before you end

Path not easy
with bumps now and then
at some you may stand tall
but many will make you fall

Some battles waged well
you triumphed
but not always victorious
because in some you fell

Some path parts are smooth
faster you paced
but not always a cakewalk
because at times you only gape

A battling journey it is
not happy all the time
a tale written by HIM
may not always rhyme

Problems staring at your face,
asking questions,
of which some you already faced
but some your sword had never taste

Life is a battle
darkness to fight
how much may you struggle
you need to get to the winning light

After every defeat
after every halt,
strengthen your heart
to store pain in its vault.

After every destination reached
after every win
treat your heart
give it wide grin

While moving while battling
do not lose yourself
testing you every time
