into the thorns
and ran her all about

forgiveness just once
i asked one time
so my retribution go unpaided

if only i could put out the stars
and watch them fall

now just dead lumps of coal

my heart has become so harden by sadness
that is now only
a statue
of my misery

as a flower towards the sun
she sprung from ground then won
a place in fairer air
...

do not fall nor let fall things about you
nor failure be your call and creed
but strike hard against those things that assail thee
and in giving fight know the moral right

fed food to his new pet fishes
for weeks on end

if only beauty
had all the goodness hope and righteousness
we project into it

ripe berries for fairies
who disdain grain and dairy
as their divine taste
are sugary sweet
...

i know people who will swear by kissing
and say pass it around

and are always kissing one another
