last night i was driving around,
when i remembered how i felt when he was always within reach.
my fear is that i won't be able to get over his voice and how it sounds,
yet my heart always seems to take me back to that silent breach.

I start unwrapping my presents,
Excited to see what my friends got me.

And wonder everytime if they're lying.
You see their eyes,
And wonder everytime if they're deceiving.

It hurts to look in the mirror,
after him telling me i'm beautiful.
It hurts to do my hair,
after he ran his hands through it.
...

You see their contagious smile,
And hear their laugh.
Making jokes with everyone,
While having a sparkle in their eyes.

butterflies in your stomach
everytime you look in their eyes
goose-bumps down your arms,
when they whisper in your ear.
...

Silence is my worst fear,
For in silence i think about everything.
The deep, hidden desires,
And all the stupid mistakes.
