little violent violins filling the air
rub your legs together
call out to each other
i hear you too

with adulthood in her fingertips,
she grows
her filthy fingers sexy with maturity
and the crispness of humidity, belonging...

Old Memories...

little violent violins filling the air
rub your legs together
call out to each other
i hear you too

its like music isnt it?
so simple, so sweet
that sound can carry you anywhere
days of youth, bodies slimy with green grass
hair messy and damp
chirping your sounds with no filter

but it's different now
my body clean, perfumed
i think of stress
and friendship seems laughable

future,
my mouth curls upward
the muscles hurt
and i think of a time intertwined with the old
my body can barely take it

plain, little crickets
never stop your music
i will enjoy your presence in my life once again
