Hello friend.

You will find bits and pieces of my biography throughout my poems. Over a hundred poems cover an unabridged history of my life and deaths. When you read my poetry, hear it with a Russian accent.

Although, I write in English, it is not my native language. It looks like I am following in the footsteps of another Russian - Joseph Brodsky.

Road Sign

I see white letters
on a green background –
A road sign!
Warns me I’m very
close to my exit.
I know, I’ll be fine

I travelled this road
Since I was a child
Day after day
First – to school, then to college
To a wedding chapel,
To work and to play

But this time I feel
Something is different
Something has changed
The sign on the road
With its new signage
Reads something strange

I have always thought
That the roads are open
And free for all
Yet the sign proclaims
That this very exit
Is the last before toll.
