i still remember the feeling
of the metal against my flesh
of the skin slicing open
of my veins letting out
...

rewind back
to my goodbye
oh wait
we can't
...

i bleed to dream
but i dream i bleed
such haunted dreams
that plague my sleep
...

her blood drips to the floor

i miss your voice
and your funny laugh
i miss joking around
and calling things 'rad'
...

dancing in the moonshine

that's creeping in the windows

scars heal
as is proven by her own
the once red lines
she etched into her skin
