A Fine Line Poem by Aimee Rozen

A Fine Line

Rating: 5.0

I am kindness, I am mean. I am here but I am gone. I am with you when you sleep, I am your dreams until the dawn. I am the nightmares that make you weep, scaring you awake. I can calm your nerves, or I can make you shake. I am the only one who can please you, I pin you to the wall. I have you wrapped around my finger, I have made you fall. I am lust and I'm desire, I'm the addiction you can't give up. I've taken away your freedom, I've taken your self-control. I am love and I am hatred, I am burning up your soul.

What a true confession, that brings the hidden feelings out at one stroke!
