All That I Need Poem by cheryl davis miller

All That I Need

I don’t think that I ask for much
I don’t believe it’s greed.

But there is something that I want
No; something that I need.

Take my three familiar friends for
an afternoon of rest.

The four of us out in the sun
enjoying this world’s best.

We'd talk and read and breath fresh air
sharing and having fun.

Just me, my dog and my Bible,
and Father’s precious Son.
