Ask For More Poem by Vera Sidhwa

Ask For More

You gave me cones of ice-cream.
And you gave me choices of candy-canes.
I swept them in my hands,
And ate them so fast.

I asked for more,
Then you gave me more.
I ate everything,
You graciously gave.

Now you need to ask for more.
And I will give you more.
Your love and our love,
Who could ask for more.
