Autumn Flowers Poem by Marilyn Lott

Autumn Flowers

Rating: 2.8

They look a little tired now
Perhaps you too have seen
They aren’t so bright and sparkly
For the weather’s turning mean

The nights are noticeably cooler
The sun comes out quite slow
The little faces of flowers
Don’t have that summer glow

But that’s okay, of course
For the season has to change
As nature takes a drastic turn
So winter can be arranged!
