Better Change Poem by Ima Ryma

Better Change

Once the world was in harmony.
There was pure water and fresh air.
Beautiful life filled land and sea.
All nature's gifts thrived everywhere.
Then, manmade waste was dumped around
By manmade carelessness and greed;
Polluting water, air and ground -
Destroying life with little heed.
Mother Nature knew planet Earth
Was now in gravest jeopardy
Of losing all natural worth.
It was time for a remedy.

To end manmade tragedies,
All humankind turned into trees.
