Black And White Poem by Edward Kofi Louis

Black And White

Rating: 5.0

From all the four corners of the world,
From all the four winds of love,
Events full of camaraderie;
To win my share of life when,
I do show my status.
Of a romance full of blues like,
'Bananas for three' that i bring to you;
This world is not my final resting place.

Black and white are playing,
Where is the fourth banana?
Black and White are playing,
When will the fourth come in?
Of my creative artistry,
Of bananas for four!
Of your creative artistry,
Of bananas for three!
This world is all that we have.
Do not take the mother when,
Takind the young birds away;
Life is full of black and white.

In the valley of salt,
In the valley of honey,
In the valley of peace,
In the valley of romance,
Beyond the Euphrates River with my mind;
Yes, this world is not our final home.

From Dan to Beersheba,
The Kings rule and misrule;
But, Blacks and Whites are the people on earth.
I have bananas for three to fly up with my muse,
You have bananas for four to make things work;
But, i will make you smile always in this world.
Great tidings of love is what i share with you,
Standing between Earth and Heaven with joy!
Of a romance full of peace when,
Black and White do play together.
