Black Star Poem by Rhonda Baker

Black Star

Rating: 4.5

Black Star shining in the sun
88 acres of the vineyards run
Mission Point lighthouse our destiny
Just my kids...husband...and me
From the chateau you can see across the Bay
The inviting waters beg you to stay
But there's so much to see and so little time...
We reach the lighthouse, and it's point we did climb
The water so clear... like poured from a bottle
The lighthouse stood there like a newly built model
we just stood there in the afternoon sun
ankle deep in the Bay, till our time was done
