Can'T Help Falling In Love Poem by Kewayne Wadley

Can'T Help Falling In Love

Rating: 5.0

We gathered in the look of her eye
Nowhere else had such piece of mind
Conversation dwindled as our burdens became lighter
A mere feather simply drifting
All things became clear
On the brink of the lukewarm night
The look she gave breathed life into the open stare just looking about
before it knew it had reason
Purpose
Purpose to look forward to the next moment
Purpose to anticipate the very next breath
Constant insomnia in a dream
Lost in the pudgy weightless clouds deprioritizing everything that wasn't included at that very moment
A sublime pattern my eyes had never before known at that very instant
A perfect imperfection
The way the crooked bends in the rivers of her eyes crossed paths with mine
It was meant to be
Motionless, as the wind stood still
She took my hand as the look of her eye became the sunset
We gathered in the look of her eye
Nowhere else had such piece of mind
As I was an tourist
And she
The place I never wanted to leave

A well articulated poem nicely encapsulated to capture the bliss of love in the inner recesses of the heart. A lovely piece of poetry. Thanks for sharing. Please read my poem THE PHOENIX STRANGLER.
