Caught Poem by Mallory Horne

Caught

People say I'm strange,
That I need to change,
To something I'm not,
So I am caught,
Between you and my mind,
Making it feel as though I am blind,
Feelings crossed,
My mind is so lost,
In this thing called faith.

Barbwire crossing my veins,
My soul feeling completely insane,
Logic not exsistant,
You continue to be presistant,
In this dreadfull life without love.
There is nothing but desire,
No inner fire.
Yet we claim to love one another,
How do you love when you can't even trust your own brother?
