Concrete Poem by Mario Enrique Rios Muniz Pinot

Concrete

Rating: 5.0

Is it like Crete, a large island south of Europe, there are the pros and cons, convicts, dead beat dads, doing time, killing time, we kill the thing we love, can you run can you hide, secrets, those boring ruins, cracked mosaic of moses, moe, roe better, island hop and Hopis, hops and beer from ancient Egypt, ruins but better ruins, runes, golden dunes of the sahara blowing north no south no north, secretions, it is spreading, purple dead nettle, pollen, Caravaggio, did I download that, where is it, so many papers, organize them, the working masses, abolish private property, is it proper, rob the robber, Robin, crusades, plunder, as I wonder about what road to take the night comes on, down, and I walk by the little light of the moon and the stars, not as bad as I imagined. What did Confuscius say about ignorance?

Mario, I love your poems. You are so adventuresom, so experimental, and you are so supportive of your fellow poets. And you do not talk too much, advice and stuff. Your poems could use a little revision though, friendly criticism.
