In the year of 1933,
Starring in a Hollywood feature.
A movie with a great difference,
Its star was an awesome creature.
Creature Feature.
Kong! King Kong!
The greatest King of them all.
A sad story of a giant ape,
Standing over 25 feet tall.
A movie never seen before,
The first of its kind ever released.
With an oh so tragic ending,
For it was beauty that killed the beast.
After him came yet another,
The Creature From The Black Lagoon.
In the end we think he's dead,
But in the sequel he proved immune.
And then there were giant ants,
A shocked little girl calls Them!
A final storm-drain army battle,
Who burn out their nest of mayhem.
Lets not forget that giant lizard,
Who surely needs no introduction.
A Japanese behemoth called Godzilla.
Rivalling Kong for utter destruction.
I might add to this over time.
Mothra, Tarantula! Jaws, Piranha, Godzilla remakes,
The Thing, Alien, Predator.
And there's plenty more on the loose...
