Destiny Poem by Candice Renae Williams

Destiny

Rating: 2.0

The distance traveled
Far across foreign lands
Where a mystic’s prophecy
Is foreseen.
Through foggy storms
And windless rain
The one who knows
Stands firm with conviction
While the innocence of youth
Is burned from the soul.

Oh, love, don’t you see?
This is part of the arms of destiny
And still we are here
Watching always for the time…
To believe in such hope
I give you this, love,
Try to understand,
That ‘I am not afraid’.
