Destroyer Poem by Miranda DeNooyer

Destroyer

You used to be my life
You used to be my soul
Now you are my pain that
I burry in a hole, and now;
You sucked life right out of me
Now I lay here just to bleed;
You could care less if I died
So one night I actually tried;
The blood steigns lay on the floor
Yet I know I could've done much more;
Then an angel came that night
They came to tell me wrong from right;
I stood up from the bloody ground
Away from deaths light all around;
I found good and bad out of my before sad life
I took my angel's hand and stepped into life's light.

very powerful, but who is the angel? is it just a metaphore or was it actually someone in your life?
