Disguise Poem by Nada Sanders

Disguise

Rating: 2.7

Halloween and All is Well
but for those Poor Souls
who rot in Hell,
brought to Life in Festive Attire-
Tricks or Treats?, the jest is all in fun;
Who knows of those
Screaming for Someone.
Pumpkins, Witches, Vampires, Bats
Who really dwells beneath those hats?
Hoods
of the most destructive kind--
the world is having so much fun,
is everyone so Blind?
-to that which lies beneath disguises-
Who will receive first prize?
My vote goes to...The man in the business suit
respected citizen, husband and father
with the Friendly Smile;
-BEST COSTUME-
hiding the Evil in his eyes.
