Don't Walk Away Poem by Lyn Paul

Don't Walk Away

Rating: 4.3

Don't walk away from me,
I need you right now
I'm struggling,
Can't cope and need to know how
How to survive my selfish life
Staying away from that lonely knife
I want to
I need to, but I don't know how
Find a real life
Not throw in the towel
It's just easy to say
Goodbye to all
But deep down
I know that I want to stand tall
Where do I find the strength to curb that evil voice
Telling me
That I do not have a choice
How hard this is,
And so, so cruel
Making me believe that I am nothing but a fool
BUT I must only believe
That I have so much to give
To others, to life

I really must live.

A good poem, Lyn. Really enjoyed reading this. We all need a purpose in life. Someone, something. Well done.

So well written Lyn and so true, so many out there who just can't find their way or just got lost spiritually and mentally, it's hard out there.

Good job dear. I hear such voice. But I don't call it evil voice, I don't even call it angelic voice. I don't know what to call it. I exist and guess it's not the life that I dreamt to live. I am nothing, but I AM! Good luck dear.
