Duckies Poem by Silence Dogood

Duckies

Waddling around a deep forest pond.
A quacking animal of which children are fond.
Wadding into water, than diving underneath.
Attempting to eat without lips, gums, or teeth

They glide across water with elegance and ease.
With the power in their legs to sail across seas.
Known to most children as a rubber bath toy.
Swimming through bubbles to little girls and boys.

With water proof feathers and powerful webbed feet.
This species of bird is very elite.
You can find them at parks eager for food.
But dont run to pet them, you'll spoil their mood.

Cooked to perfection, a duck can taste great.
The perfect appeteizer for a very first date.
They wont do no more quaking inside of my mouth.
Migrating for winter to countries down south.

It's the end of the duck it was a very good meal.
I got it on sale for a very good deal.
So say your sorries and wave your goodbyes.
Because unfortunatly this duck had to die.
