Elaine Poem by Edward Kofi Louis

Elaine

A poor man who oppresses the poor is like,
A driving rain which leaves no food;
But a faithful man will abound with blessings always.

Elaine, do not be among those who drink too much wine!
Nor among the gluttons who eat all kinds of meat;
Because the man of knowledge increases in strength always,
And like the sweet muse of love.

Do not eat the food of a stingy man nor desire his delicacies,
For wisdom is too much ofr a fool! !
But a faithful man will abound with blessings always.
