Everlasting Love Poem by Leaking Pen

Everlasting Love

How can you still love me?
When my ways are murky
Like mud in a downfall
On from the first heavy rain fall
Yet you wipe the stains from my heart
Each time I manage to slip and fall
How can your love be so forgiving?
I read of such love in the Holy Book before
But never dreamed I'll witness it in my lifetime
Forgive me if my faith is not strong bearing
For I am the impersonation of Thomas
Who needs to dip his hands in love's wounds?
In order to believe in the miracle of love
And I need more time to yield to a loving heart
But my eyes witness what my heart fails to witness
Why has love blessed me with you guiding my soul?
