Exterminator Poem by Palitha Ranatunge

Exterminator

A mutant cell from the hell, the land of dead,
Challenging all species with lungs for the time being;
Challenging the most catastrophic one with pair of lungs,
A greedy throat and vile fingers, ten in number.
Not only his flesh all his theories have been mocked
And promoted atheism as a truest concept
Before the deceptions of manmade fallacies.
It has nothing but a nucleus full of a liquid
Has no soul or brain or heart; cannot feel, sense or love
It breeds trillions but has no life - it is a living dead.
When that creature with pair of lungs and foul fingers
Dominated land and air, it being a spooky invader
Of planet earths dominated said mammals unpleasant
Territories with evolving avarice.
Having no feelings of sacrifices in heart except for
His own betterment. Having unseasonal sexual desires
Filling all space on earthen surface with human dung.
Killing, killing, and killing every other being except him
Has been faced with a silent death about to be
Wiped out from this green world - the paradise
Of the Universe where mammals dwelled among
Other species sharing the surface bed, water bed
And the divine air bed underneath a virgin ozone
Layer shelling all within like the soul of mighty Titan,
Lover of inoffensive ancient humans, Prometheus.
